Perhaps your in the market for a skyline exhaust or other skyline parts? Are you searching for nissan exhaust parts to enhance your existing car
When it comes to improving the R32|R33|R34 skyline performance there is no
better area to begin than the exhaust system as the correct exhaust is
guaranteed pick up for your Nissan car and will give you that additional amount
of extra power that you know you deserve.
Fitting the right
exhaust system works in a few different ways in relation to your cars
performance as it adds to the air flow through your engine and through
the cylinder heads, which permits any exhausted or waste gasses coming
out of the combustion chamber to escape quicker and clear the outlet
chamber at a much greater rate.
The exit of gas is another
crucial provider in engine output and a wide exit outlet will manage
the spent gas in a more proficient way. This in return will advance the
‘Brake Horse Power’ and you will be aware of this difference when you
put your foot to the floor.
Every part of the Exhaust system
has an impact and your R34 Exhaust will further your skyline’s
performance if taken care of and at its maximum efficiency!
Principally all exhausts pretty much work in the same way.
Exhaust Manifold - This is the upper most part of the cars exhaust system and is attached directly to the cars engine. This part of the exhaust is the first to receive the hot waste gasses that are produced by the burnt fuel. The job of the exhaust manifold is to burn any further fuel that has escaped the engine in combustion and the manifold is very, very hot!
Exhaust Pipes - These are nothing more than hollow pipes that carry spent gasses from the engine and into different parts of the exhaust system. They can be made of different types of metal but the main metal is aluminum as this is not prone to corrosion. The exhaust pipes link every part of the exhaust form engine through to tail pipe.
Catalytic Converter/Muffler - This is a crucial part of the exhaust system and as the name suggests this part absorbs the aggressive and overly loud noise of the spent gasses. Ever heard an exhaust system with a hole in it.......................say on more! The Catalytic Converter further burns the spent fuel and filters out any harmful gasses so that the expelled gasses leave the tail pipe as clean as is possibly able.
Tail Pipe - Unless your car is located on a ramp then this is possibly the only part of the exhaust system that you will see. This is where the spent gasses exit the car and are distributed into the atmosphere. A lot of Skyline Owners will customize their tail pipe as this can have a very positive impact on the car's appearance.
So what do you have to do so that your Skyline Exhaust Parts are tip top and give you lasting quality and peace of mind?
- Well the first thing is to source your parts from trusted dealers. Never buy from dealers who you feel are risky or may be offering deals that are too good to be true. Getting great Skyline car parts will mean you are putting the best parts into the car that you have spent hours of work getting it back to peak condition.
- Second piece of advice is to get a trusted and well experienced auto mechanic to fit the parts once you have them. Just to make a point not any mechanic can work on a high octane beast such as your skyline with the same effect or outcome as a specialist mechanic. It may cost you more in the long run but it will be worth it.
- Lastly if you are going to have a go yourself then make sure you know what you are doing. The last thing that you want is to tinker about with your car when your not really sure what you are doing. This may seem like an obvious point but you'll be surprised by the amount of people who meddle where they are not qualified to do so and then end up paying through the nose to get it fixed.
Have fun with your Skyline. Enjoy it and cherish it. You deserve it!!
